The last week of August, saw more carnival bands unveiled their 2014 themes.
On Sunday, Colourz for so mas, attracted a decent turnout, to its launch of Mount Olympus. Island People‘s presentation; D Whole, Mystery, Magic & Marvel was launched on Tuesday. S.O.B.E.I.T Carnival, did launch last Wednesday, however we do not have the name of their presentation. Ronnie & Caro’s launch followed on Thursday, with their presentation; D river come down.
Back on the 14th of August, new comers Flirt carnival, launched their presentation, La Isla De Calor – The Island of Heat. Flirt is in the small band category, with ten section, but aim to put the fun and revelry, back into T & T carnival. Many were left disappointed, on hearing the news that Island People’s male sections, have sold out. Many of the popular carnival bands do sell out quickly, so to avoid disappointment, do sign up early!
