The carnival faithful will be heading to Florida, for the Miami Broward Carnival 2013. Like many carnivals, that follow the Trinidad & Tobago model, there are several events, such as, kids parade, Soca concert, steelband and King And Queen competitions, and J’Ouvert, prior to the parade day, which is on Sunday the 13th of October. Along with the explosion of colours and sounds, visitors can also expect, Caribbean cuisine, local foods, drinks, art and craft vendors, and activities for all ages.
When the week long festivities is over, there is a choice between a last lap dance or cool down party, on Monday the 14th. Both are limited ticketed events, so if you are attending check out the links below.
