Nottingham Caribbean Carnival 2013

Nottingham Carnival: Sat 17th / Sun 18th August

On the 17th of August, from midday, the Forest Recreation Ground, will be  open to the public with; open air zumba, live music featuring local and national musicians and the Red Bull Music Academy as well as fun fair, bar and numerous food and other stalls. All activities will be closed by 9.00pm.

On 18th of August from noon, its the Family Fun Day. Activities continue at Forest Recreation Grounds, along with live performances on the Main Stage, throughout the day including International acts later. From 2.00pm, the Community-led Carnival Parade,  with hundreds of colourful costumes, wind its way through the City Centre to the Carnival Site, arriving approximately at 4.00 pm, for the costume and stage performance competition.
