Houston Caribbean Festival 2013

The Houston Caribbean Festival seeks to celebrate cultural diversity through a festive environment, while celebrating life through song, dance and artistic expression.

Houston Caribbean Festival is your one-stop for Caribbean entertainment in the Greater Houston area, while simultaneously providing a window to other Caribbean activities all across the globe!

The Houston Caribbean Festival committee hopes through community-based programs (scholarships etc.) and cooperative efforts with other organizations, that their unifying of cultures will positively impact our communities for many years to come.

The festival runs from the 3rd – 7th July. There are many fetes to the run up of the parade of the band. Patrons will also be treated to live performances from the likes, Tallpree, Ravi B, Lyrikal and others on 4th July. The 5th of July is J’ouvert, which runs until 6am Saturday 6th. If that wasn’t enough, there are more live performances from Red Hot Flames, Pumpa and Rudy. The 7th of July its the parade of the band and then its the turn of Bunji Garlin in the Differentology Concert to round off the week’s festivities.
