Humours Calypso Competition Closes The T&T Carnival Season

The final National Monarch title for the Trinidad And Tobago 2013 Carnival Calendar season, took place on Saturday 8th of April, at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain.

Nine finalist, including the defending Monarch Myron Bruce (Myron B) each delivered two performances to a panel of judges and a small patronage. Myron B retained the title and collected the $25000 first prize, with his two songs; Ladies Gentleman and Wooden Boy. Julien Hunte, stage name Kid Kalaloo, took second place and Victor McDonald (Mr Mack) slotted into third place.
